How to completely uninstall Microsoft Office 2007

Some windows user who were annoyed with the functionality of MS Office 2007 and decided to remove it and went back to Office 2003 may find it difficult to remove this more than 1 gigabyte of software because it has no uninstallation program and cannot be removed through “Add/Remove Programs” in the Control Panel.

Microsoft, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218, provided a procedure to completely uninstall it but aside from being tedious and lengthy, it’s hard to perfect, and the traces of the installed program will still remain in your computer.

If this scenario happened to you, don’t freak out if you cannot find the “uninstall” program associated with MS Office 2007. Just insert your Office 2007 installation CD and click through until you see the “Change your installation of Microsoft Office 2007″. Tick “remove”, then continue.
