Development of Models and Methodology for the Segregation of Distribution System Losses for Regulation
I really never thought that I will be part of this paper, http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/freeabs_all.jsp?arnumber=4142486, about the segregation of system losses, i.e., technical, non-technical, and administrative losses of the electric distribution systems and be published by IEEE. It is now one of the research papers that you cannot access unless you have a paid membership on this organization.
I still remember Sir Jordan requesting me to make another paper, aside from this, that could be submitted to IEEE TENCON 2006. That paper used to detail the implementation of this methodology into a working simulation program. It used to be easy to write since that simulation program that we developed, Distribution System Loss (DSL) Segregator, was already working and have already been used in the promulgation of the system loss caps of distribution utilities in the Philippines, as mentioned in that paper. I’m just really too busy to write the paper at that time.
Last month, I received an email from IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, requesting me to submit a research paper related to electrical engineering including power systems. I’m now thinking if I can hit on this.
