Minimum Bid Masiway Generating Assets

While SN Aboitiz Power Corp. (SNAP), a partnership between Aboitiz Power Corp. and SN Power Holding Singapore, seemed based their bid price on the old “rule of thumb” of US$ 1 Million per Megawatt to come up with a bid price of US$112 Million for the purchase 100 MW Pantabangan and 12 MW Masiway HEP generating assets, a friend of mine has caught the other bidder, (who happens to withdraw in the bidding for the assets), searching the web for the minimum bid of Masiway generating assets. See picture below;

MidAmerican Energy Holding Company is the holding company of CalEnergy.

Unfortunately, I think no active bidder will put their bet in the net. Nor PSALM will publish the reserve price of the assets, simply because it is confidential.

Anyway, congratulation to First Gen for winning Pantabangan and Masiway HEPs.
