How to Change / Modify the “Microsoft Internet Explorer Provided by…” IE Window Title?
You can actually customize your Internet Explorer window title, “Microsoft Internet Explorer Provided by…” into something else by doing the following simple steps;
1. Go to “Start“, click “Run“. Key-in “regedit“, then hit “OK“. The “Registry Editor” window will appear.
2. Browse these folder; “HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Microsoft -> Internet Explorer ->Main”
3. Browse the “Main” folder and look for “Window Title“, then double-click it to open.
4. You’ll see a “Value Name” and “Value Data“. The entry in the “Value Data” is the string of words that appear in your IE window title. Change it to whatever value that you want.
That’s it, pretty simple.
