Where to buy/purchase a Buchholz relay?
Buchholz relay is an equipment used to sense unusual activities inside a power transformers, like sudden pressure changes and gas accumulation due to fault. It will also relay a warning if a sever oil leak is happening in the transformer.
Most of the Power Transformer manufacturers, however, don’t manufacture Buchholz relay. They just sourced it from other company whose business and specialization is in Buchholz relay construction.
If you are in Asia-Pacific Region, you can buy Buchholz relay at Electric Systems (electricsystems. com. au) in Australia. They are a distributor of ETI - Electtrindustria Srl of Italy. Another Buchholz relay manufacturer, Comem, is located just in Singapore. Mitsubishi Electric in Japan, I think, also supplies a Buchholz Relay but I don’t think it is of their brand. The problem with Mitsubishi Electric is that it’s hard to have a contact directly with them, unless they have a local partner in your country.
Mean while, ordering a Buchholz relay in Europe area, I think, is not difficult. There are a lot of Buchholz Manufacturers there. To name some;
