Magat A and B Minihydro Plants in Ramon, Isabela

Date

The Complex is composed of;
1. 1.44MW Magat-A mini-hydro (4×360KW)

This run-off-river mini-hydroelectric power plant was commissioned in 1984. Unit 1, however, has not been operational since 1986.

2. 1.08MW Magat-B mini-hydro (3×360KW)
Another run-off-river hydro plant downstream of Magat-A, this mini-hydroelectric power plant was commissioned in 1985.
Both are located in Ramon, Isabela and installed along the main irrigation canal. As far as I can recall, the complex was built be the National Electrification Administration (NEA) but now it is owned and operated by ISELCO.
