A Simple Way to prove or disprove if a Water Powered Car is Authentic

Date

Last February and, just recently, this month of May, I had a one-on-one discussion with fellow local engineers who happen to have a wide range of experience in developing and implementing modern day, as well as, old technology to meet the human needs and for profit, as well. And like me, we always like to discuss the recent development and inventions related to our fields.

Most of the time, I used to plant a discussion about the claimed invention of Daniel Dingel, which is the water powered car because I knew that we were all in the right position to discussed it because we all know the principle behind this kind of “invention”. And as expected, we all did not believe on Mr. Dingels “invention”.

Why?

According to various test conducted, there was a trace of carbon in the exhaust of Mr. Dingel’s water powered car. Carbon is one of the by-products of an organic compound like oil, specifically, gasoline or diesel. If his engine is indeed runned by water alone, then the exhaust should be steam or a pure water only, no carbon. Chemically, fuel cycle inside Mr. Dingel’s engine would be;

1. splitting which is usually done by electrolysis.
2H20 (water) ->4H(hydrogen Fuel)+O2(oxygen)

2. Combustion if hydrogen inside the engine where heat is liberated
4H + O2 -> 2H2O (water)

Notice that there is no carbon involved in the chemical processes. How could there be a trace of carbon in the exhaust? There must be something in it.
