The Tiwi Geothermal Power Plant

One of the 3 - 110 MW Tiwi Geothermal Power Plants in Tiwi, Albay and one of the first geothermal power plants that were commissioned in the Philippines. Today, Chevron operates the geothermal production field that supplies the steam requirement of the Power Plants. Aboitiz Power purchased the three power plants (as part of Tiwi-Makban package) from the National Power Corporation through a competitive bidding in 2008.
