Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (or ACSR) bundle cable. Aluminum, which composed the 3 outermost layer of the bundle, is a low cost, high conductivity, and low weight conductor. However, due to its poor strength, a steel reinforcement in the middle of the bundle is used.
