Magat Dam Spillway
The spillway of the Magat Dam is located across the boundary of Ifugao and Ramon, Isabela Provinces in the Philippines.

The spillway is used to spill excess water in the reservoir during high water inflow period to protect the dam, itself, from overflowing.
Similar to the Pantabangan reservoir, Magat dam is a muti-purpuse dam whose primary purpose is to store water for irrigation. Other purpose is for flood control and electric power generation.
Compare to Pantabangan, Magat reservoir has larger watershed area but smaller reservoir for the water. This is the reason why it is quite often to see Magat dam spilling water through the spillway compared to Pantabangan Dam.
