Turbo Generator Stator Undergoing Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS)
This is a photo of the stator of a 46,875 KVA, 13.8 kV, 3600 rpm turbo generator that is undergoing preventive maintenance schedule (PMS). Regular preventive maintenance check for the generator stator includes checking of the wedge, insulation resistance and power factor tests, and winding resistance test. Vibration and partial discharge activities in the stator are also constantly monitored (usually online). Re-wedging is also done if the wedges were found loose.
