Electrical Engineering

Here are some essential stuff related to the field of Electrical Engineering, specifically, Power Systems Engineering. Most of it are research and projects on my field of interest. Please do not plagiarize!

1. Optimal Allocation of Fixed and Switched Capacitors For Unbalanced Radial Distribution Feeders Using Artificial Intelligence-Based Approach
Application of AI-based Genetic Algorithm for the determination of the optimal allocation of capacitors for the minimization of energy and power losses on distribution systems. The algorithm was implemented using C++ programming language.

2.The Capacitor Placement Problem
A literature review on optimal capacitor placement problem. Contains history, background, and different approaches.

3.The Genetic Algorithms
A literature review on optimal capacitor placement problem. Discusses the basic and advance concept of Genetic Algorithm, on how it works, its basic parameters and components.

4. A Solution to Economic Dispatch Problem of MERALCO and NPC using Piece-wise Linear Programming Method
An Application of Linear Programming Method on a practical power systems problem. The main purpose of the project is to show the efficiency of the methodology rather than to give accurate value for the results since some of the data used are assumed values while some are outdated. This was my paper on IE 214 (2nd Sem., AY 2005-2006)

5. The Online Power Flow Simulation Tool
This Online Power Flow Simulator is a free online based tool for Electrical Engineers and Students to assist the analysis of power flows in the power systems. It implements the Gauss Seidel iterative method of load flow calculations.
